Doorways Saltburn

The DoorWays Youth project supports young people aged 13 to 25 living in and around Saltburn. Our aim is to equip young people who have complex social and emotional difficulties, with the skills and confidence to improve their life chances and fulfill their potential.
Based in Saltburn Railway buildings, we offer an open door and non-judgmental approach to providing practical and emotional support to young people throughout East Cleveland.
Open DoorWays
• Drop-in centre open Monday to Friday 9.30am-4.30pm offering information, support advice and guidance for young people in need.
• Youth Club Monday evenings 6.30pm-8.30pm: to socialise, take part in group challenges and explore creative skills.
• One-to-one support and counseling to increase confidence and improve emotional management.
• Supporting young people into work through CV writing, job search and becoming work ready.
• PC and Multimedia sessions to develop IT, film making and animation skills.
• Learning resources to help young people develop essential Life Skills.
• Street work to engage with young people in their own environment.
