Dome Leisure Centre

Mildenhall (Dome) Leisure Centre opened its doors to the public on the 27 April 1977. The centre shares the site with the Mildenhall College which ensures that both the local community and college students benefit from the sports and leisure facilities and programmes of activity for all ages.
The centre has undergone several modifications and additions over the years and now boasts a Mainhall, Gymnasium, 3 Squash Courts, Fitness Studio, 2 Studios, a Multi Use Games Area (MUGA) and a Soft Play Area.
The Mainhall has lines for 4 Badminton Courts, a Netball Court, a Volleyball Court, a Basketball Court and a 5 A-Side Football Court. The facility is a training facility for many local clubs and for coached activities, it is also home to our winter 6 A-Side Indoor Cricket League to which we always welcome new teams to and is also used for Children’s Parties (Bouncy Castles, Skating, Football etc…).

The floodlit MUGA is split into a small outdoor court suitable for football, tennis and netball and a large outdoor court suitable for football and hockey. The facility is a training facility for many local clubs and for coached activities, there is also a very successful all year round 5 A-Side League to which we always welcome new teams to.
There are also Squash and Badminton Ladders all members are welcome to join.
Our Pirate Island Soft Play area is great for the under 5’s, it can be played in on a casual basis, hired for parties and is also the location of our crèche which is offered on all of our weekday morning classes.
Mildenhall (Dome) Leisure Centre is managed by Anglia Community Leisure on behalf of Forest Heath District Council. Anglia Community Leisure is a not-for-profit, charitable company, set up to provide leisure management services within the Forest Heath and wider area.

Centre Opening Hours: (Public)
• Monday to Friday: 07.00 – 22.00
• Saturday to Sunday: 08.00 – 15.00

Notes:
*Opening times may vary for Public Bank Holidays and over the Christmas holiday period.
*Our facilities are available at weekends for Club and Private hire and for Parties, Functions and Events.
*The Centre or an individual facility may be closed due to bad weather or any unforeseen circumstances outside our control, for specific functions, bank holidays or for programmed repairs/maintenance. Where possible notices will be displayed in advance.
No refund of the membership fees even in part will be given under these conditions.

Fitness Studio:
• Monday to Friday: 07.00 – 22.00
• Saturday to Sunday: 08.00 – 15.00

Notes:
*Use of the Fitness Studio is subject to the satisfactory completion of a PAR Q (Health Questionnaire) and Induction.
*Last admission is 30 minutes before the advertised closing time.
*The Fitness Studio will be closed to the Public during School Use and Active for Life sessions, please refer to our Fitness Studio Timetable for timings.
