I'm Dawn, escapee from years of subtitling TV programmes and now walking dogs for a living. I cover Busby, Clarkston and limited parts of Giffnock, Newton Mearns, Waterfoot and Whitecraigs. I also provide limited dog daycare, dog boarding and pet visits. I'm Disclosure checked, pet first aid trained, fully insured, local authority licensed, have a clean driving licence and am a non-smoker. My Doblo van benefits from rear double doors, two side sliding doors, a half height divider between driver and cages so that light enters the rear of the van and the cages get the benefit of air from the open windows during hot weather. The van is fitted out with easy clean and secure travelling cages from Lintran (as used by the RSPCA and others) which can safely transport up to 6 dogs (from tinies to very big dogs) individually or be reconfigured to comfortably take as few as 2 VERY LARGE dogs individually (think wolfhounds and Great Danes). The cages are fitted with non-slip matting and comfy dirt trapping mats and/or VetBed and the van is fitted with a ventilation fan. The four main lower cages have individual fans, the upper cages benefit from being directly in line with the ventilation from the front side windows and pressure activated cooling gel mats are used in all cages during warmer weather. Water and a first aid kit is stored on board.
