Dixie Lift it, Shift it has recently purchased its first Beavertail Craned Truck. After searching country wide for the correct vehicle we have purchased a very reliable and extremely capable Scania R Cab 420bhp truck with a nearly new 19 tonne crane, capable of lifting 8 tonne close by and 2.5 tonne at full 28 foot reach meaning that the lorry can be parked a good distance away from where you need your load picked up or dropped off .

The truck's specialised Cheese Wedge Beavertail Body with double folding ramps allows ease of loading of all vehicle and plant that can be driven on by our experienced and qualified drivers. The air suspension and extra low Beavertail Body is extremely helpful when loading low plant and access platforms. We regularly move tractors and farm machinery for local Norfolk companies and have recently started lifting boats. All of which have been successfully loaded and transported by ourselves. We transport loads up to 14 tonne using this service. All our drivers have a wide range of experience and are all qualified for 360 diggers, fork lifts and access platforms.

The 19 tonne crane features a winch system which is a rare piece of equipment, It allows the crane to act like a conventional crane enabling loading from below ground as well as lowering containers and other items onto ships.

Our current vehicle and any that are added in the future are equipped with the latest technology ensuring safe operation and efficient use. All our vehicles are tested and certificated yearly to ensure that we continue to operate safely and professionally during our operations.
