Disability Sports Dorset

Disability Sports Dorset was formed by The Dorset Destroyers Wheelchair Rugby Club. The club was launched in May 2016.

One of our main aims is to get many wheelchair sports under the same roof and to give disabled people in Dorset and surrounding area, the chance to try and to play new sports or to reconnect with the sports they used to play.

Where we are based at Rossmore Leisure Centre (Everyone Active) Herbert Avenue, Poole, BH12 4HR is a great venue for accessibility.

Lots of wheelchair car parking spaces, push pads for entry to the centre, radar key toilets, cafe, sports halls, gym and much more and it's all on one floor with not a step in sight!

It is our intention to get many sports into Rossmore Leisure Centre as recreational sports and in the future get some coaches in to give players a chance to progress if they wanted.
