Producing Fine Art in Guildford, Surrey, I generally work in oils, although I'm experimenting with watercolour and coloured pencil, mainly as a sketching aid. Landscapes are generally from my photographs and I interpret what I see in the photo onto the canvas, as it is difficult finding the time to sketch/paint outdoors. Still life is a favourite, as I enjoy the challenge of reproducing the forms, shadows and spaces in the subject.
