More about Dani Haigh Dressage

Dani Haigh and team have been running a top class training and livery operation at the historical Ledston Hall since 2012.

With a 25x65 Pro-Wax indoor arena, viewing gallery, ample hard-standing parking and beautiful surroundings, we think we have a great set up and look forward to welcoming friends old and new to our new base. As a freelance dressage coach, Dan invites clients to come and visit the yard in Ledston, West Yorkshire which enjoys excellent links with the A1(M) and M62 motorways.

With partnership, understanding and good horsemanship at the heart of all we do, Dan aims to provide riders of every level with the tools to reach their goals - however big or small.

Dan holds a Level 2 UKCC Accreditation, Equine Specific First Aid Certificate and British Dressage Apprenticeship - Assistant Stable Manager.

An introduction to Dani;

Dan has been involved in horses from her early teens, starting with lessons at a local riding school. At the age of 14 she bought an unbroken 3 year old WelshxTB, Breeze (AKA Sunday Morning) who is still giving her the run around today! She enjoyed some success in showing, winning the Festival of Champions with Breeze as a 5 year old show hunter, and regularly showjumped locally. In 2003, they competed in their first dressage test together, and so the story began......

Dan had the amazing opportunity of training with Becky and Hannah Moody - well know dressage names in the North. Starting as a working pupil, Dan was taken through the BD Apprenticeship Scheme during her time with the Moodys and gained 3 years of invaluable experience. She recieved regular coaching from the Moodys, as well as other top names such as David Hunt. Below are some of her achievements;

- BYRDS C Squad Champion on Sunday Morning
- BYRDS B Squad Reserve Champion on Copper Pot
- 4th at Keysoe inter-regional B Squad on Sunday Morning
- BYRDS Northern Region A Squad Champion
- Keysoe inter-regional 4th in A Squad, 3rd as a team
- Talent Spotting finalist - 3rd in Young Riders
- Competed in Premier League at Myerscough - 3rd in Young Riders on Kabanza
- Keyose inter-regional A Squad Champion and Team Champions
- 10th at Sommerford Premier League PSG on Jordas
- BYRDS Northern Region A Squad Champion with Kabanza
