Dance Sensation School of Performing Arts

We are a Dance School based in Reading, Berkshire. We currently have branches in the Tilehurst, Shinfield and Calcot areas. Established in 2005, the school is run by principal Marie Beazley and in that time we have seen the school start from only five students to well over a hundred as it is today. We firmly believe that dancing should be a fun and enjoyable activity but at the same time a fantastic discipline for children of all ages. Children can start from as young as the age of two and a half, learning Ballet through music and movement. We aim to achieve an extremely high standard of dance/performing arts and for this reason all classes are kept to a moderate size for a more personal approach. We are proud to boast a 100% pass rate for all exams taken to date at Dance Sensation! As well as recreational level and to keep fit, students may choose to go on to further their career and become a teacher or move into the Dance profession. Exam subjects taught are ISTD Ballet, Modern and Tap, and recreational classes include Jazz and Musical Theatre. For the babies we have Baby Ballet, in which we use all kinds of stimulating and fun music learning basic technique, balance, poise and co-ordination.
