Welcome to Dam Head Farm set in the heart of rural Lancashire. The properties are set in the protected landscape of the Forest of Bowland, a national area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB). Roughlee is a delightful hamlet set alongside the gentle stream of Pendle Water and one of three lovely villages sitting at the foot of Pendle Hill. Famous for the Pendle Witches - Roughlee’s witch connection goes right back to the beginning of the 17th Century. Pendle Hill towers 1,831ft above the region and used to be a beacon hill at the time of the Spanish Armada and is now a magnet for walkers and cyclists.

Dam Head Barn, the Studio and the luxurious Blacksmith’s Cottage make a perfect place for a short break or longer holiday (for groups and individuals) to explore Pendle, the Forest of Bowland (AONB), and the diverse leisure and cultural activities on offer in wonderful rural Lancashire.

We aim to offer the best possible guest experience. We have a rural location and lots of green space. We want our guests to feel the peace and the space in addition to the comfort of our ‘boutique’ style accommodation. We warmly welcome our guests and endeavor to encourage guests to feel at home as quickly as possible.
