Stephen Nugent is a TOYOTA MR2 Specialist here at D1 Customs., he undertakes all aspects of MR2 Repairs, including Servicing, Diagnosis fault finding, complete engine re-builds and custom work.

He is a fully qualified TOYOTA Master Technician and holds several qualifications, to include TOYOTA Master Technician, Diagnosis Master Technician, Pro Technician also Body & Paint Technician, these courses where carried out between 2002-2005 with TTEP (Toyota Technical Education Programme)

having spent 10 + years as a Toyota technician which taught him the importance of vehicle quality repair and diagnosis, it was during this time working at Toyota he developed a huge passion for the MR2, ever since he can remember there as always been an MR2 within his family, his father also being a qualified Toyota tech, would allow him to work alongside him on the MR2’s as he was growing up, At the weekends he began finding himself offering help and advice to club members, which then quickly turned into working on club members MR2’s, it was at this point back in 2010 D1 CUSTOMS TOYOTA MR2 SPECIALIST’s was founded..

Being equipped with the genuine Toyota hand held tester as illustrated in the factory repair manual, allows for precise diagnosis/fault finding, this tester with the accessories allows for link up on pre OBD MR2’s
