Craig Sneddon Photography

Craig Sneddon- Born and raised in the Kingdom Of Fife, grew up with my two parents and one brother. From a young age I had a talent for being musical and become an established saxophone player.

Being creative was something that seemed to come naturally to me and my imagination as a child sometimes run wild which meant sometimes, I had some crazy ideas but was unsure how to express them or put them down on paper. I found at school that being this creative and musical was sometimes frowned upon by my fellow students as this wasn't typically what a young school boy would enjoy.

In my teenage years I put my saxophone to one side and decided to concentrate on becoming a hard working young man in an attempt to support myself. This was difficult for me as I still felt that I had to have one hobby that allowed me to express my creative side and allow me to experiment. At the age of twenty two I moved to a small town in the Scottish borders called Berwick- Upon- Tweed where my love for scenery was discovered.

At times I would find myself close to tears by simply looking out into the water on a warm summer morning down by River Tweed. In 2014 I decided it was time to find a new hobby that would let me once again put all this imagination together and turn it into something amazing.

After my mother passed away, small things become so much more important in life. I begun to appreciate the countryside around me so much more and therefore decided it was time to buy myself a proper mans camera so I could catch Scotland and its people at its best through a lens. The moment I took my first snap was the moment I realised my dream and I knew photography was something that I could once again put my creative stamp on.

I have now become a very talented photographer with a large portfolio of work which I feel best demonstrates how I am as a person. My favourite thing to take pictures of is people as each person has a varied amount of differences from their skin to their facial features.

Our country is beautiful, people are beautiful and this excites me as a recently developed photographer.
