I have been wielding a camera since my teens and, following an introduction to film processing and printing at Edinburgh University, photography has become a lifelong obsession. I have topped up my skills with various courses over the last few years and in 2014 was fortunate to be awarded a Licentiate Distinction by the Royal Photographic Society.

I have worked in the heritage sector most of my career, first in planning, historic building conservation and conservation areas. I then worked in museums for 15 years, and was Head of the Heritage Lottery Fund in Scotland for 16 years, during which time we supported some 3,000 projects with over £600m. In 2015, I set up this photography business to provide: support for applicants to the Heritage Lottery Fund; a specialist service for architects and the heritage sector; and photography for businesses wishing to promote their services and products.
