Colchester Free Festival

The festival aims to be a landmark event that puts our home town on the map. Providing an outdoor celebration that both boosts the local economy and showcases local music, arts and creative talent – stuff that the town and its people should be truly proud of.

The event is open and accessible to all, be it as a volunteer, performer or attendee. Everyone is welcome and will be provided with equal opportunity to be involved and have their say.

The Free Festival Team is a group of people who are proud of and love Colchester. They are individuals, families, friends and community groups who want to work together in a collaborative effort to have a positive impact on the place in which we all live, work and play.

We are a festival for the community, by the community.
