Coalpit Heath Cricket Club

Coalpit Heath Cricket Club really is at the heart of the local community – cricket itself is only a small part!

We have a large social membership base of over 300 members who use the cricket club as a social base and for playing sports such as skittles. With visiting teams the clubhouse really is buzzing during through out the week. We run a large cricketing section with 4 senior teams and youth teams at every age group. The Youth section is very successful, with players being selected to play for the County and District sides.

During the day time our large clubhouse provides a base for the amazing work done by Paul's Place (www.paulsplace.org.uk) for local disabled persons.

With various events and functions also held, we estimate over 5,000 people a year use the cricket club, many of whom are frequent visitors.
