Clough Head Shooting Ground

Clough Head Shooting Ground, based on the boarder between West Yorkshire and East Lancashire is a warm and welcoming ground to shooters off all abilities from seasoned shots to beginners. Clough head will gladly accommodate all types of shooters.

Open thursday from 16:00 for skeet, costing £5 per round.


Open from 10:30 saturday for sport trap.

Costing £6 per round. last entry at 14:00

Sport trap (commonly known as 5 stand) is a multi trap discipline where each target is shot at from each of the 5 stands in a different combination. single, on report and then simultaneously.
A fast and focused discipline which any level of skill can participate


Open sunday from 10:00, for traditional sporting clays.

Costing £11 per entry. last entry at 14:00.

The most popular of clay shooting disciplines, Clough Head offers a traditional 5 stand sporting layout. a combination of skilled trappers and challenging environment makes this a sporting like no other.

Depending on the numbers skeet occasionally will be set up on a sunday after sporting has ended. again this is £5 per round.


Parking spaces are available but due to numbers they may go fast.
