Togbe Afede XIV
Chairman Cloud Africa Ltd


Mr. Afede served as a Lecturer at the Business school, University of Ghana and Executive Director of Databank financial Services Ltd. Among his major professional accomplishments, he co-founded Databank Financial Services Ltd and founded Strategic Initiatives Ltd and SAS Investment Management Ltd.

He is an Investment Banker with experience spanning over twenty (20) years. He serves as Chairman of strategic initiatives Ltd in Accra.

Mr. Afede has been a Director of Pioneer Kitchenware Ghana Limited (Alternatively, Pioneer Kitchenware Limited) since January 2002 and serves as its Chairman of the Board.

He served as a Non-Executive Director at Bank of Ghana since April 16, 2009 until June 26, 2013. He serves as a Director of National Theatre of Ghana, Accra Hearts of Oak FC Ltd, SAS Investment Management Ltd and Strategic Initiatives Ltd. He has been a Non Executive Director of Aluworks Ltd. since February 2002.

He is currently a member of the President's Economic Advisory Council. Mr. Afede holds an MBA degree in Finance from Yale University in USA and a BSc Administration (Accounting) degree from the University of Ghana.

Togbe Afede XIV is also the President of the NHC (National House of Chiefs) and therefore the paramount King of traditional rulers across Ghana, he also was recently re-elected Chairman of the Ghana state bank (NIB) and now sits on the council of the State (serving with the President of Ghana and elected members for Ghana)

Ishmael Yamson (Vice Chairman)

Ishmael Yamson is an highly competent business leader and business development professional, with a total of 18 years experience.

He combines strong business acumen with exceptional technical and process knowledge, and has a solid track record of delivering business and ICT solutions. Ishmael has a strong entrepreneurial spirit which has seen him build a number of private businesses during the last 17 years. In addition and prior to this, Ishmael worked with a number of sizeable ICT organisations, where he led his teams to deliver commendable results.

Highlights include Negotiating and securing a €10m SAP franchise for Ghana, Sierra Leone, Liberia and Gambia to deploy hosted services, executing telecommunications contracts in excess of $1,300,000 in 2007 and secured contracts for a further $5,600,000 over three years and sitting as the current Chairman of WASPAG where he develops and maintains relationships with the NCA (the local regulator), MNOs and the Telecom Chamber.

Akwasi Agyeman (Non Executive Director)

Akwasi Agyeman is currently the CEO of the Ghana Board of Tourism. He has diverse knowledge in Business and Organizational Management, especially in the private sector.He holds an MBA in Marketing and Information Systems, MPA and BA (Hons) in Social Sciences.

He is also current President of Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA).

Dayo Adefila (Director of Strategy)

A proven tech enthusiast and entrepreneur, Dayo is a dynamic and successful marketing communications professional with over 14 years’ experience.

An awarded Copywriter who nurtured his art at LTC Advertising (JWT Lagos) Insight Communications and So&U Saatchi & Saatchi before moving into brand management proper.

He joined Vmobile as Deputy Corporate Brand Manager, became Head, Strategic Planning at Insight Communications, Nigeria’s No.1 marketing communications agency.

He has over the years demonstrated a knack for successful startup development, business innovation and product development. He is a Co-founder/C.O.O at multiple awards winning HotSauce Ltd, a leading interactive media marketing firm in Nigeria and a member of the TROYKA Holdings Group.

Paul Akwaboah (Director of Marketing)

Paul has extensive experience in terms of marketing to the West African and specifically Ghanaian corridor and his activities support both offline and online public relations for technology companies include fintech, and sports based companies where he provides marketing support for groups such as the Essien Foundation.

He has successfully implemented marketing strategies 360 to drive visibility for brands and user acquisition and as such recently was awarded opportunities to support the current President of Ghana.
Paul brings high value, extreme drive and a network that will prove invaluable to any of Cloud Africa’s clients and partners. He is based in London.

Troy Hector (Director of Technology)

Based in South Africa he is a versatile, forthright and results-driven executive with documented record of managing multi-billion Rand revenue portfolios and business growth success in competitive markets. More than 15 years’ experience in a senior management / executive capacity.

In-depth understanding of complex and varied public and private industry verticals including automotive, beverages, education, hospitality & the public sector.

Undeniable ability to manage the complexity arising from leading a wide breadth of strategic, revenue facing business units. Develops, engages, and maintains highly effective and influential relationships with diverse senior stakeholders and customers.

A strong reputation as a versatile executive who fosters positive work environments and a forward-thinking communicator who readily inspires the trust, confidence and respect of others.

His recent history saw Troy lead Telkom Enterprise in South Africa as the Managing Executive for Diversified Commerce & Industry.

Rajesh Parmar
Co-Founder & Group CEO

Rajesh is the co-founder of Cloud Africa Ltd. He brings a wealth of hands on experience having previously worked for Reuters and Investis in London for 10 years (Investis the leading corporate communications company in the UK for web and mobile services providing online innovations to the London Stock Exchange) before moving to Barcelona to head up business development for mobile innovations company Futurlink, a startup backed by La Caixa, the second largest bank in Spain.

Under his guidance Cloud Africa has built up a very strong market reputation in Africa. A mobile and technology visionary and one of the early movers into the African region where he commands great respect from his peers in Africa and innovators looking to enter the market.

He brings credibility and most importantly trust and gravitas both at the highest level in the African continent and with vendors and partners across the globe looking to successful deploy products and services in Sub-Saharan Africa.


Fiona Laryea (General Manager Ghana)

Fiona is a seasoned and highly successful professional bringing seven years’ experience in senior management roles and eight years’ experience in Corporate and Retail Banking.

Versatile skills developed in Sales and Operations across Banking, Insurance and Technology industries make her an invaluable asset to the Cloud Africa operations and future growth in the West and Central African regions.

Fiona has over delivered in all of her roles including Rancard, Microensure and Access Bank. Strong leadership skills and well respected within the industry.
