The market was moved to the adjacent site of the old cobbled bull ring which was the centre piece of the old cattle market. The cattle market can now be found on the outskirts of Clitheroe on Lincoln's Way. The market redevelopment reflects the Council's commitment to the importance of the market and its role in the continuing success of Clitheroe as a shopping centre.
