Clip and Dip

Having spent the last 30 years in Financial services and being made redundant for the 2nd time in 2 years I decided to quit the rat race and enter into a much more rewarding career.

I have always wanted to own my own business, I am a total dog addict and I'm very creative. All this led me to dog grooming.

Now you can set up as a groomer with no training and just a pair of scissors. That was not for me, if I was going to enter into this profession wanted to be very good at it.

I found a brilliant City and Guilds Trainer/Examiner who actually trained a groomer that went on to win Crafts. She is one of the best Groomers in the UK and Grooming wholesalers use her to test their products before they release them for sale.

The training was tough particularly for a mature student like me but I got through it and a achieved my qualification.

I have set up a purpose designed dog salon in the grounds of the Sherfield Garden Centre where I will groom all breeds of dogs from the tiny teacups to the big boys, pedigrees to muts! They will all get the same level of loving professional service and will be treated like one of my own dogs.
