Claire's Equine & Animal Reiki

Welcome to my new page! I first trained in Reiki in 2002, but didn't use it as much as I would have liked as life took over. - as it so often does.

Following a decline in my health in 2009 due to an underactive thyroid, ME/CFS and Fibromyalgia, I visited a Reiki Master, Karen Wilson in Stroud, who treated me for my illness using Reiki. As my health improved, I decided to re-take my Reiki I and II with Karen, who I can't speak highly enough of; and will be doing my Master course next month in June. I can't wait!

Over the years, I have successfully treated many people using Reiki; but over the past 6 months, I started to notice that my two dogs were really enjoying the energy when I was doing a self-treatment (which is possible with Reiki I). Now, as soon as I put on my relaxing music, they are up on the sofa and snuggled up waiting for a long deep Reiki slumber!

So why Claira B's Animal Reiki Healing? Well first of all Claira B was a name that I remember being called occasionally as a child at home. When someone at work called me Claira one day, I really liked it, and it took me back to my childhood and lots of happy memories.

Dogs and horses are my passion, and so they will be my main focus. I would love to work in some stables with racehorses, which isn't actually too far fetched living in Cheltenham! I am also a member of a local dog training club - Down Hatherley DTC, and so I hope I will have a few customers from there too!

There is nothing scary about Reiki. It just 'finds' where you body needs to build up some energy and re-balances your system. Most people fall into a deep sleep, or into a 'Reiki slumber' and will have a very deep and peaceful relaxation. So why not for animals too.
