CJ Guitars and repairs

From an early age I have always been intrigued by music. Influenced by the imagination of the mind to create a sound that conjours up thoughts in the mind that takes the spirit on a magical journey.
learning to play an instrument allowed me to tap into the creative side of music, and as a result I find that I am now happily ensconsed in that field playing guitar to wide varied audiences where and when I please.

As a guitar tutor I came across many students whose guitars were in dire need of one of three things;
Sell it!
Set it up or
Chop it up for firewood.
Hence CJ Guitars was born. Out of desperation I guess to allow my poor students the ability to play their guitars without the need to apply several Kilos of pressure to bring the string to bear down on to the fret board (believe me, I've seen it and played it. . .).

I re-string, set up, restore, repair and build guitars and have been providing this service to a few people who have come to know and trust me. They are still with me today. The only type of guitar work a can not do (because I do not have the facility at this time) is build acoustic guitars from scratch. I am hoping that in a couple of years I will be able to provide this service.
