The class will include:
AERIAL HOOP / AERIAL RING
Come experience a beautiful new way of expression and movement.
Aerial Hoop, also known as cerceau, ring or lyra, is another wonderful circus apparatus in which the student learns beautiful manoeuvres and shapes while spinning on a large metal hoop suspended in the air. You can create amazing and beautiful poses and routines on the aerial hoop and classes are always exciting. Each class is also structured to each student’s level and ability.
We have both the 1 point and 2 point aerial hoops at Pole Sessions both set at different heights off the floor so you can really get a feel for this type of fitness training.
AERIAL SILKS / AERIAL TISSU CLASSES
Come experience a beautiful new way of expression and movement.
Aerial Silks, Tissu or Fabric are two long pieces of soft fabric that hang from a single point, that people wrap themselves in. You can create many beautiful poses and stunning dance routines. You will increase your strength, grace and flexibility, while you climb the silks and move your body into amazing poses and shapes. Drops and slides are an exciting and fun part of learning these circus apparatuses.
TRAPEZE CLASSES
_TGP6980_1_ppwsCome experience a beautiful new way of expression and movement.
The Static Trapeze is an aerial apparatus consisting of a bar hung from ropes. Climbing, inverting, rolling and turning students discover their center of gravity in many different positions. You will learn how to move from different positions with grace and ease while gaining strength and control.
Trapeze is a fun, interesting, and challenging way to keep fit, and this course aims to build your strength and confidence, getting you off the ground and teaching you the basics.
You don’t need to be super-strong or bendy to join in, just an ability to hold your weight (initially just for a few seconds) when you hang from a bar.
