Cilantro

Cilantro first opened its doors in 2000 as an elegant fine dining restaurant of an International cuisine. The idea behind the it came from Sir John Madejski, who personally requested for the restaurant to have its place inside the Millennium Hotel when it was built. Since then, it has become the home to its regular diners as well as Sir John himself as it continues to serve its diners with an excellent fine dining experience. The restaurant itself has been designed with an elegance to create the perfect ambience for any special occasion.

The restaurant is open Tuesday to Saturday from 7pm and offers two exclusive menus. The Menu Gourmand, a seven course tasting menu, and an A La Carte Menu Du Jour. The dishes have been carefully crafted by Head Chef Denzil Newton who pairs together taste with design to present plates that any diner will love. He believes that dining should not just be about consuming a few dishes, but rather enjoying a development of tastes.

The menu’s are frequently adapted in line with ingredients that are seasonal to the time of year. Included amongst the seven courses are an Amuse Bouche to start, and a Pre-Dessert, both which are designed to cleanse your palate before and after the courses. Cilantro’s current Menu Gourmand is as follows and is priced at £49.50.
