I have been a parent for more than thirty years; I am married and have four grown up children of my own and eight grandchildren. My youngest son still lives at home. My family and I have had DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks.

I am an experienced Ofsted registered childminder offering good quality care and education for babies and children from 0 to 5 years; I do not offer a school run service. I have excellent references and testimonials from parents and children.
I offer a good range of fun activities and experiences to help your child develop. I have good quality toys and resources and a secure garden to play in. I take the children on outings and visits and also attend sessions at the local Children’s Centre and library.

My last Ofsted inspection was in July 2014 and I was given a ‘GOOD’ grade. I am a member of the Professional Association for Childcare and Early Years (PACEY). I can offer up to 15 hours of early education funding for 3 and 4 year olds and for eligible 2 year olds.

My qualifications are:
BA (Hons) Young Children’s Learning and Development (Level 6)
Paediatric 1st Aid (Level 3)
Safeguarding Children (Level 1)
Certificate in Childminding Practice
Level 2 Award in Nutrition and Health
Level2 Award in Equality and Diversity
Steps to Quality award. I have completed all 3 Steps of the local authority's ‘Steps to Quality’ quality assurance scheme to give me this award.

Like all childcare settings, I am required to deliver the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) (2014) to babies and children in my care from birth to age five years through the seven areas of learning and development:
