Chesterton FC

Chesterton Junior Football Club was formed in 1986 when a child from the local village school went home to his parents and asked them to let him play for a team with his friends. Over the years the Club has grown into what it is today with eleven different age groups playing across five different leagues. In 2005, Chesterton became a Chartered Standard club and with the age groups, everyone is a FA Level 1 coach, with a few who are Level 2 and also Level 3. In 2012, sadly the Chesterton Sports Pavilion was burnt down. It had to be completely demolished being condemned as beyond economic repair. We appointed a restoration committee and following successful fund raising events the money that was raised, went into the building of the modern facilities you see today. The building includes a meeting room, kitchen, changing rooms and full disability facilities. We are proud of what we have achieved and our teams are benefitting from the best equipment and facilities available. They are progressing well and showing great promise for their future. The club is fresh and vibrant, new families and friends will be made very welcome. I would ask them to contact us, come along and see what we have to offer. There is a place for anyone wanting to play or get involved in any capacity.
