I am passionate about traditional home baking/cooking so have decided to set up my own business helping others to learn to bake/gain confidence in baking/cooking and to sell my bakes for mouth watering prices.

If you’re anything like me you’ve watched countless hours of cooking shows on TV, and you’ve been inspired by the delicious-looking recipes the hosts and contestants always seem to whip up. You’ve probably tried what seems like hundreds of delicious desserts and savouries over the years – from creamy cupcakes and pasties at birthday parties, to delectable slices and muffins with afternoon tea (some probably not so good too).

If you’ve decided it’s time for you to take that next step and learn to bake for yourself why not book a session.

Learning to bake for the first time can seem like a challenge, but it can be very simple. Just start practicing with a basic cake or savoury recipe to begin with until you’ve perfected it, then you can start adding your own variations and flavour combinations.

The sessions are ideal for complete beginners who want to learn the basics of home baking and those wishing to build up a repertoire of tried and tested recipe favourites for serving to family and friends.

I can bring equipment or you can supply it and I can decide what to bake/cook or you can choose something of your own choice (maybe a family favourite). Length of the session is dependent on what we bake.

At the end of the sessions you should have much more confidence in home baking whether its cakes or savouries.

Baking for children is also available so they can develop their own skills not just in baking but weights, learning ingredients and basic cooking techniques.

At the end of a session whether adult or child you will receive a recipe and equipment card to put in your portfolio which I will have started for you with some useful bits of information. Over time you can build this up with some tried and tested recipes.

Or you can just take the stress free chilled option and get me to bake something of your choice instead for great value.
