Cheltenham Weightlifting Club was founded in 1954 by Dave Whitehead and Paul Bowles.
Our main focus is Powerlifting and we have a close association with the National Organisation 'British Powerlifting'.
We are currently based within Gym 66, but we remain an amateur sports club and as such all profits from our activities are returned to the club for the benefit of CWLC and British Powerlifting.
