Chelmarsh Sailing Club

Chelmarsh Sailing Club offers a warm welcome to all sailors, would be sailors and friends. 120 acres of water set in beautiful countryside, with a modern fully equipped clubhouse makes Chelmarsh the dinghy sailing club of choice in Shropshire.

New members, beginners or seasoned sailors, will be given a warm welcome.

Chelmarsh is affiliated to the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) the sports governing body and is a recognised training centre with qualified instructors offering a range of courses suitable for the absolute beginner to the expert.

As a beginner you can join a learn how to sail course (you do not need to pay club fees to join these courses).

The club is open all year round for dinghy sailing. Class racing for Fireball, Laser, GP14, Solo, RS Aero and Menagerie fleets are held on Sundays throughout the year and on Wednesday evenings through the Spring & Summer.
