Charter House holiday rental Devon

We purchased Charter house a grade 2 listed Georgian Town house in 1998 as our family home. The accommodation which still retains some of the original features comprises of a hallway , ground floor cloakroom, sitting room, a living room, a dining room , kitchen/breakfast room and utility room. An open well staircase takes you upstairs where there are 5 good sized bedrooms, a single room, shower room and bathroom. At the front of the house is a paved patio area with a raised flower bed that over looks the village Square. An archway from the front leads you into a small courtyard and side garden with raised shrubbery this then leads you around to the rear good sized garden that is laid mainly to lawn with a few trees and shrubs.

Whilst we are Happy to take up to 2 dogs at no extra Charge we ask that you respect our home and not allow your dogs upstairs or on the furniture. We also ask that the dogs are not left on their own for long periods of time either inside or outside (we fully understand that you may wish to go out for a meal in the evening so would be happy if they were left in the kitchen/utility room) as this can be very stressful for them if they are in unfamiliar surroundings.
Please make sure that all dog excrement has been cleared from the gardens before you depart as incoming guests may have young children and no pets.

Charter house is close to Local amenities such as Shops, Pubs, Children's play area, Country and Coastal walks, Beaches, Forestry, and Churches, it is also within a short car journey to Clovelly, Bude, Torrington, Bideford, and Barnstaple where you will find many other attractions and things to do.
