F.A.Q.

1, Why only service and repair V.A.G vehicles?

We believe it's best to stick with what you know. We're available to work on other manufactures but may be restricted on type of repair due to only having specific tools and equipment for V.A.G vehicles. All enquires are welcome!


2. What is OEM equivalent parts?

OEM (Original Equipment Manufacture) are parts that are either identical or equivalent quality to the genuine parts. Car manufactures use other companies (E.g. Bosch, Lucas, NGK, Valeo, Sachs, LUK) to supply many components for the vehicles. These can be bought through other parts suppliers at a cheaper price. Meaning you get genuine quality parts at a cheaper price.


3. When will my vehicle need a service?

Depending on which service schedule you're on it will vary. Standard intervals is every 12 months/10,000 miles (whichever comes first). Long life intervals will vary but generally will be 24 months/20,000 miles. We will also check to see if any additional items are required such as engine filters, brake fluid change, belt changes, gearbox oil change and Haldex oil change.


4. What is Retro Fitting?

Many accessories like cruse control, sat nav, hands free ect. are optional extras when buying new. These kits can be bought and with a few wiring modifications and ECU coding you can have these accessories fitted to your car.


5. Can you remap my car?

At this current time we're unavailable to offer this service. Although if the demand is big enough this will be something we'll look into.


6. Will my manufactures warranty be void if I don't have it service by a dealer?

As of October 2003, vehicles within their warranty period do not require dealer servicing. But if serviced outside the dealer, it must be serviced to manufacture specification and use approved parts. We always carry out our services according to the guide lines and all of our part are approved.
