WHAT IS MICROBLADING/ HAIR STROKE BROWS

Microblading is a form of Semi Permanent Makeup that achieves the perfect looking brow. It is done using a hand held tool which is full of lots of tiny needles to deposit pigment into the skin by using fine strokes . This then creates natural fine and crisp hair Stokes which are then used to create the desired shape, fullness and colour of the brows. The appearance can be completely natural looking and blend with or without any brow hair but can also create a thicker more defined look for those who desire it. This hair stroke tattoo technique is now replacing the block colour tattoo technique of old.

DOES IT HURT.

Every ones pain thresh hold is different but Microblading isn't usually classed as a painful procedure but more of an uncomfortable procedure . It is much less invasive than your typical tattoo and often people can cope without any numbing. However i am trained ,and insured to safely and legally use topical numbing and this is including in all my treatments unless you are allergic.
A lot of aestheticians are using illegal and banned numbing agents with no training on how to apply them or what to do if something happens. A lot are banned in the UK and imported so the aesthetician will have no idea what is truly in the product. Where as i get all my numbing products through the ARA's online chemist and the product is specifically prescribed for each client.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME
I am a Student nurse and have been doing beauty and semi permanent lashes for the past 5 years. I am member of the ARA (association of registered aestheticians ) which offers clinical oversight into all my procedures if needed. Gives me access to an online chemist that allows me to get legally and safely use numbing agents as well as to apply them. I also have annual first aid training with them and i am specially trained in the area of anaphylaxis (a severe allergic reaction) . I am also trained in basic life support , infection control,hand hygiene, health and safety. Aswell i am CRB checked.
