Cedars at Afan Forest

The original Cedars was established in 2012 by Jill Williams in Bryngarw Country Park, Bridgend; a lifelong lover of vintage china and excellent food, Jill chose to start a tearoom that would allow her to indulge both passions.

Her daughter, Hollie Williams joined Cedars shortly afterwards, bringing her talent for baking and cake decoration to the business, and the tearoom expanded its services to include afternoon teas and bespoke cakes.

Cedars Tearoom Ltd took over the lease for the Visitor centre at Afan Forest Park in May of 2016, and Cedars at Afan now serves a selection of homemade hot and cold food every day to cyclists, campers, walkers, and passers by!

Cedars was built around a simple principle: the best quality product, for a reasonable price.

Cedars believes both in supporting the local economy and in having the freshest ingredients possible, so we focus on sourcing local suppliers for the best of both worlds: all our food is prepared fresh, and everything we make is of the highest possible standard.
