Catherwood Guitars

Catherwood Guitars are hand built in Ireland using Irish grown solid tonewoods for the bodies and necks, and the finest Alpine Italian or Alaskan spruce for the soundboards.

All our wood is sustainably sourced. All our Irish timber was either felled for other reasons, so is rescue timber, or is from fallen trees.

Catherwood Instruments are handbuilt by John Catherwood, Stephen McClenaghan and Gerald O'Neill, in collaboration with Lisa Catherwood our designer.
