Castle Howard Summer Sounds

Back by popular request, the concert will feature popular classics, film themes as well as flag waving favourites associated with ‘The Last Night Of The Proms’. Jae Alexander, famed for his work with West End musicals, will also be returning (himself celebrating his 15th Proms at Castle Howard) alongside some very special guests, many of whom will be announced over the coming weeks.

The concert will kick off in dramatic fashion with an original World War Two Spitfire performing aerial acrobatics over the audience as the UK Philharmonic Orchestra performs some of the best-loved music in the world including Walton’s Spitfire Prelude and the Dambusters Theme. The event will end in a truly celebratory fashion with Rule Britannia and Land Of Hope & Glory played alongside a specially choreographed pyrotechnics show which will light up the night sky over Castle Howard.
