Amy Makinson is a Registered Independent Nurse Prescriber holding a full NMC licence as well as being a proud member of the British Association of Cosmetic Nurses and the RCN.

Amy's passion for Aesthetics led her across to Los Angeles in 2009 where she spent time working with one of LA's leading celebrity plastic surgeons. Upon her return Amy worked on Harley Street, London. Here, she perfected her specialist training techniques whilst working alongside some of Europe's most well respected surgeons including Dr. Bozek, Dr. Alexandrides and Dr. Kremer. Whilst working on Harley Street Amy specialised in Patient Care, Non-Surgical and Surgical procedures. This enabled her to experience all aspects of the journey that a patient follows, starting with the first time they confide in their practitioner, to administering anti-wrinkle injections, to assisting the surgeon during liposuction, to nursing a patient back to recovery after a face lift. This has led Amy to understand her patients and to be able to identify their individual needs to ensure a top quality service.

Since opening Casia Aesthetics in 2011, Amy has expanded her skills and knowledge through ongoing educational development.

Her specialist techniques focus on creating natural, subtle enhancements. Amy's approach is open and gentle with a good eye for aesthetic balance.
