Body Control Pilates Matwork Teacher (Level 3) and FitSteps Instructor (dance aerobics). REPs registered. My background is in illustrated publishing – I worked for years as an editor in London, Brighton and Ayr, continuing part-time while raising children. My escape, over an 8-year period, was twice-weekly Pilates classes. Oh, the joy of movement! With my partner, I discovered the delights of ballroom, Latin and Argentine tango classes. In 2013, I embraced one of several Midlife Crises, and retrained to teach Pilates and dance fitness – a fabulous combination of precise alignment, flexibility, strength and aerobic fitness. The best form of exercise is the one you enjoy so much that you do it repeatedly!
