Carl Cockcroft Swim School

Carl Cockcroft Swim School offers swimming lessons in the Yorkshire area for children and adults. Currently at Hull, York and Scarborough. Carl is a former Great Britain swimmer and qualified Teacher and Head Coach who has a passion for teaching others how to swim and to improve their swimming ability. He has experience in coaching and having competed at such a high level himself he is able to offer a more tailored service to those looking to learn to swim and to improve or compete at a higher level. He has taught all ages from babies to the more mature swimmer. If you are frightened of the water or confident in the pool and just want to improve your swimming ability we can help you. Carl Cockcroft Swim School follows the Swim England Learn To Swim Programme stages 1-7 formely known as The ASA National Swimming Plan. Our club is an Institute of Swimming member and an affiliated Swim England Club. Our swimming assistants Amelia, Sophie and Holly are present in many of our sessions with Carl and Carly and are all truly well respected and valued members of the team who assist in the running of the class environment and are assets to the team. More recently we have been pleased to announce that Carly Atkinson, our new swimming teacher has since joined our team in Scarborough. Carly has a wealth of experience in teaching and coaching and we are very pleased to have her join us from September and to be able to offer classes also taught by Carly, also ASA trained (Swim England).
