Captain da' Dera is a success story which has unfolded in the pursuit of love for homeland,cultural roots and authenticity of taste.This dream has come true due to the constant hardwork and dedication of Owner and designer of this authentic village restaurant Mr Azhar Hussain,who was a Captain in Pakistan Army and came to united kingdom only 12 years ago.His ambition was to introduce real desi food in authentic surroundings of our villages with the same uncompromising hospitality.To fulfill this, his first step was to open Khyber Pass restaurant,which is opposite to captain da' Dera and is doing really well.Recently captain da' Dera has has been inaugurated in which everything is more real and authentic and it has taken the mission to a step further.


Captain da' Dera offers fresh traditional desi food from the streets of Pakistan with an ambience of any village from khyber to karachi.The food is prepared and served in the same traditional style.This is a place for those who miss their culture and have a great desire to enjoy the desi food in the same authentic surroundings.In fact, we would strongly recommend visiting the whole restaurant as it is a great place for the next generation to learn our culture and lifestyle our forefathers used to enjoy.It's far too easy to relax with a glass of lassi and folk music in it's mud huts.
