Canterbury School of Visual Arts at Canterbury College

With its stimulating and vibrant atmosphere, our outstanding art & Design department is one of the most successful and exciting in Kent. Student make full use of our modern Art facilities and their work is displayed in our in-house gallery "The Palette". At our end-of-year show work is exhibited in venues around the city centre. You will be able to use a wide range of industry-standard facilities, including: a photography studio and dark room; graphic design studios with iMacs and CINTIQ graphic tablets; printing & textile studios featuring silk screening equipment and a traditional Albion print press; and our newly opened sculpture and ceramics studios with potter’s wheels and kilns.

Our Art & Design department was awarded OFSTED Grade 1 - 'outstanding' during our last inspection, we are one of the only three 'outstanding' Art and Design Departments in the UK.
