Cake at Heart

I took a leap of faith and launched Cake At Heart 3 years ago when I embraced my passion for cake decorating. I'm based in Telford, Shropshire and I create scrummy cakes for all occasions across the Midlands.

I've always enjoyed baking but decorating cakes was completely new to me. I am self taught and learnt following online classes/tutorials and gaining tips and advice from fellow cake makers through forums and social media.

I love working with customers to bring their cake designs to reality and personalising each and every cake I make. I use only the freshest and highest quality ingredients to ensure your cake tastes delicious. All eggs are free range and bought locally and I use a supreme sponge flour. I pride my self on my cakes tasting as good as they look and enjoy creating with flavours as well as design.
Whilst I can offer gluten-free, dairy-free, egg free and sugar-free products the following ingredients are used in the kitchen:
Milk and/or milk powder
Eggs –pasteurized whole, yolks & whites
Tree Nuts - pecans, walnuts, almonds, cashews, macadamia
Soy – in any product containing shortening
Wheat
Coconut
Peanuts

I separate all bulk ingredients, clean the kitchen/equiptment/tools daily and before working with allergen products, and all "free from" cakes are always baked first to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
