After the overwhelming success of their restaurants, Cafe Asia decided to expand their business by opening a new restaurant and bar in Cumbernauld. After purchasing the Kingfisher Bar in May the Cafe Asia team concentrated on renovating the well known pub into a stylish Indian restaurant with a separate bar area. Although the premises have been renovated they have still kept some of the original decorative features of the building which date back to the 1960’s. The restaurant holds up to 120 people and has an outdoor play area for kids.
The Café Asia group continue the ethos of their business strategy by delivering quality rustic Indian cuisine and first class service. The well trained chef’s at Cafe Asia believe that flavour is everything, they believe in cooking with an open hand meaning every dish is seasoned to perfection with just the right amount of spices.
Along with the bar and restaurant there are also plans to open a new function suite in early February 2014, which will be the largest function suite in Cumbernauld. The suite will be the ideal place for birthday parties, sportsman dinners and business conferences.
The people at Cafe Asia want to do more than just provide great food and service they want to give something back to the local community and will be offering the new suite free of charge to local community groups on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evening. They will also been involved in Enterprise development with the local schools and partnership working with sports clubs in the Cumbernauld area.
Cafe Asia Cumbernauld features a lunch menu from £6.75 for three courses available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1.00pm and a pre-theatre menu from as little as £9.95 for three courses. They also have an a la carte menu with prices you won’t find anywhere else in the area. The team at Cafe Asia want to provide the people of Cumbernauld with a fantastic dining experience offering a unique taste of North India created by their award winning chefs.
