For over 2 years the Government has supported the Business Sector with its Growth Accelerator Service as it provided financial support through Grant Funding, assisting the SME sector in achieving growth through access to finance and training.
This support has allowed a huge amount of businesses to develop and expand their business and its products, leading to increased employment, financial stability and driving profits through the sector. These accelerated growth programmes have ensured SME’s are “fit for purpose” not only in terms of their structure control and systems but also to ensure the much talked about “lack of finance” available from banks and funders is not an obstacle to finance requirements in all areas of a business.

Following the Annual Spending Review, this programme has been cancelled with immediate effect, much to the surprise and disappointment of those companies either utilizing the scheme or looking to do so. The access to finance, coaching and training support were told on Friday that it would cease form 23:59 on 30th November 2015.

Business Finance Solutions (UK) Limited has taken the decision to step in and offer their support in managing this position for the interim. In other words, using the team and associates within BFS, we are going to ensure the Growth Accelerator and Access to Finance services are made available on a first come first served basis. We will ensure that the level of support, coaching, mentoring and training previously match funded by the government is available, via BFS for the same cost as it was with the “Government Backed Funding”
