Burghfield House

Burghfield House, operated by The North Highland College, is unique. It is run as a training restaurant.

Set in the cathedral town of Dornoch, Burghfield House provides a learning, teaching and commercial environment, featuring a private dining/conference room, a lounge which can accommodate up to forty people and 30-seat restaurant. The design, décor and furnishings combine to provide a subtle blend of modern efficiency with traditional comforts. Dornoch is an ideal destination for short breaks and business conferences - its relatively short distance from Inverness, with a wide range of good quality products such as golf, fishing and walking on the doorstep.

Overlooking pleasant views of the gardens, The Stokehole Restaurant's traditional wood panelling and stained glass windows have been preserved to enhance the ambience and unique character of the hotel. You can enjoy outstanding service and hospitality.

Just 42 miles from Inverness, Dornoch is easily accessible and provides the perfect venue for meetings, conferences and training & development days. Our private dining area can provide conference accommodation for 20 people in a private and tranquil environment.
