Bubblitex is a family run business that was originally set up 47 years ago.

It all started selling foam and upholstery from market stalls across Manchester and north Wales and even in those early days the goal was always to surprise and delight customers with fantastic products and service.

The showroom is an Aladdin’s cave of soft furnishings, wallpapers and fabulous fabrics with everything from brightly printed fabrics for children’s bedrooms through to the heaviest and richest brocades, fine silks and the latest metallic’s on display, there is something for every room in your home.

Bubblitex stocks more than 3,000 different fabrics and if that’s not enough we also have hundreds of design books direct from the fabric manufacturers. Prices range from £1 a metre up to more than £70 a metre, you can simply buy the material you want or have it made up by the Bubblitex team.

The team here all have years of experience of fabrics, upholstery and soft furnishings, which enables them to provide you inspiration or transform your ideas into the finished product. Whether you’re looking for fabric, key tassels, a cushion or a complete interior solution the team are always on hand to help you. In addition to the showroom team, the behind the scenes staff are always on hand to offer home interior advice, a full measuring and fitting service, upholstery, fabric cutting, sewing and hand quilting are ready to turn your dreams into reality.

As well as materials for curtains and upholstery Bubblitex can also make and fit new covers for any sort of sofa or chair. With a combination of covers and new foam expertly cut to shape and size, we can bring any piece of old furniture back to life.

At Bubblitex there is also a great collection of quality sofas, oak dining furniture, beds and mattresses on offer. With our extensive knowledge of the upholstery business, what we do at Bubblitex is to provide top quality products with a completely bespoke service – you can have the piece of furniture you want, made to the size you want and upholstered in the material you want. Everything is craftsman made. We’ll even take pieces of furniture from stock out to your home so you can see how a certain item would look before you buy. There is never any obligation if you decide at that stage not to progress that’s fine, it’s better that way, we don’t want you to buy something from us and find out it doesn’t look quite right or won’t fit properly in your home.
