Are you passionate about Performing Arts? Talented, committed, driven and ambitious, with a determination to make it in the industry? Then BTS Performing Arts wants to hear from you!!

BTS Performing Arts is the sister school of the hugely successful BrightLights Theatre School, and opened in September 2015 to give young people a taste of the profession and professional drama school.

The sessions are mostly lead by our Principal Nick Sutcliffe, a graduate of Mountview Academy of Performing Arts and an actor/director/ choreographer/drama specialist and workshop facilitator with 20 years industry experience.

In the first year our students had Masterclasses and extensive sessions from actors such as:

Zoe Curlett, whose many West End credits include Christine in "The Phantom of the Opera" and Cosette in "Les Miserables".

Jonny Fines - Rooster in the UK Tour of "Annie", Nicky in "Avenue Q", and soon to be seen playing Kenickie in "Grease" this Christmas at Curve.

Olivia Fines - "Singin In The Rain", West End; Iris in "Fame", European Tour; Rizzo in "Grease", UK Tour; and joining Jason Manford understudying and playing the lead role of Ulla in the UK Tour of "The Producers".

Workshops this year include:

Djalenga Scott - Velma in "Chicago", West End; Lily St Regis in "Annie", UK Tour; Anita in "West Side Story", UK Tour; and soon to be seen as Rizzo in "Grease" this Christmas at Curve.

Kate Bone - Kate is a Casting Director who works for Nina Gold Casting and will be taking a screen acting masterclass with our students on 13th November. Kate has been responsible for casting roles in the movie of Les Miserables, Game of Thrones, Paddington, Star Wars and many more listed in the weblink here http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0002274/

Annemarie Lewis Thomas - a West End Musical Director and Principal of the hugely successful MTA (Music Theatre Academy) voted "School of the Year" by industry newspaper The Stage - www.themta.co.uk

Cara Dudgeon - trained at Nottingham's Television Workshop from the age of 6 then graduated from London School of Musical Theatre in 2012. Cara has played Wendy in "Peter Pan"; Luciana in "The Boys From Syracuse"; the title role in "Cinderella" along side Strictly's Camilla Dallerup; Trixie in "Daisy Pulls It Off"; Lead Vocalist aboard P&O's Luxury Cruise Liner "The Pacific Pearl" touring Australasia.

BTS Performing Arts is open to students aged 15 - 20 and runs every Wednesday night in Loughborough at Charnwood College. As far as we are aware we are the only school in the area offering such top notch tuition from industry professionals, who really are at the absolute top of their game.
