Bradley Stoke Evangelical Church

Who are we?

The answer is simple: ordinary people probably just like you! In our church, there are lots of families, as well as singles and young married couples. There’s a real mixture of people; some with dogs, others who love football, some who have always lived in Bristol, and a surprising number of people from other countries.

As an evangelical church we accept that everything God says in the Bible is for our good; it tells us all we need to know him, and how to live to please him. Our focus is on Jesus Christ himself and on all he achieved through his death and resurrection.

It is our privilege to worship God not only when we meet together to pray, praise and learn from the Bible – but all week as we live and work in the community. Most of us live in and around Bradley Stoke and we are keen to get to know our ‘neighbours’ in the locality and in the workplace.

Our Vision:

Everyone in Bradley Stoke will have the opportunity to hear and believe the gospel of Jesus Christ. Every member of the church will be a prayerful, loving and effective witness to Jesus Christ, in word and deed, to the people they meet.

Partnerships:

BSEC is an independent church – that is we are totally responsible for our own affairs. We are however, pleased to work with other local churches – especially insofar as we share the same evangelical priorities. BSEC is also a member of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC).
