The Space:

We host three sumptuous en-suite bedrooms - a twin and two doubles - and guests enjoy the privacy of their own dining room and lounge. We pride ourselves on the quality of our food, the presentation of our home and the warmth of our welcome. Well behaved dogs allowed (by prior arrangement and with a supplement).

Guest Access:

Our aim is to ensure guests are made to feel very much at home. Plenty of car parking is available at both the front and off-road at the back of the house and guests will have access to our walled and spacious gardens.

Interaction with Guests:

We will be available throughout to cater for all the needs of our guests, which can include (by prior arrangement and with an appropriate supplement); pick-ups and drop offs (including 'Sherpa' service for walkers), packed-lunches, dinner and laundry.

The Neighbourhood:

Bowbank House sits in a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. Around us are unparalleled views, wonderful walks and interesting places to see and visit - Bowes Museum, High Force Waterfall and Raby Castle are just a few examples and all within 20 minutes drive. Both Mickleton and Middleton-in-Teesdale (5 minutes drive) boast great places to both eat and drink.

Other Things to Note:

Middleton-in-Teesdale is a closely kept secret for those that would wish its utterly unspoilt, ruggedly beautiful and timeless quality to stay that way. Walk, cycle, fish, golf, sail, sightsee or just relax, it offers all these things and much, much more.
