Bodidris Shoot is family owned and run and we pride ourselves on providing an enjoyable, friendly and professional days shooting for all parties. Bodidris is located in Denbighshire, North Wales within an area of outstanding natural beauty surrounding the small village of Llandegla. You can enjoy quality driven shooting on a traditional family run sporting estate, with over twenty named drives. From wooded valleys to formal pheasant coverts, the birds presented will challenge the skill of the most accomplished shots. We provide a high level of service to ensure a fantastic day is enjoyed by all of our clients.

We emphasize strongly on quality with signature drives such as Little Moor where the birds confidently soar high above the towering 50 yard pylons. The beating team work hard to show high birds which can be seen by all pegs with spectacular scenery showcasing the wonderful Welsh countryside. The highly acclaimed Hall Drive leaves the guns with a broad smile on their faces and cheers can often be heard down the line for the duration of the drive. It offers a mixture of testing pheasants where some pegs are snap shooting and others are placed in clearings within the wood. It is commonly said by guns to be the best drive they have ever experienced.

Your days shooting will start off at our shoot lodge where tea and coffee are served along with breakfast if desired. Afterwards a safety talk is held, itinerary reviewed and pegs are drawn. The morning shooting takes place over two drives before elevenses which includes homemade delights, such as pork pies and scones, and is topped off with Champagne and in colder weather sloe gin. Two more drives conclude the day and the shoot lunch is then served at the lodge. Without experiencing Bodidris for yourself it is hard to describe the quality of birds shown, the great nature of banter on the shoot and the enjoyment by guns and beaters a like!

Accommodation can be provided by a variety of hotels in Ruthin and Llangollen. For our clients that are looking to do extra activities there is Faux Degla clay pigeon shooting, just two minute’s down the road. A short drive away is the tourist hotspot Llangollen which has an aqueduct, health spa and many activities. Nearby towns include Mold and Ruthin along with the bigger towns Wrexham and the city of Chester which is a popular destination for shopping.
