We are a friendly, family run business based in the wonderful Carmarthenshire countryside. We may be small, but we have so much to offer our visitors.

The beautiful Brechfa forest area is ideal country to be explored on horseback. It consists of large areas of open mountain, planted forestry and beautiful valleys, as well as farm land complete with tempting tracks and bridleways.

Llanllwni Mountain is on the edge of the Cambrian Mountain range. It is owned by the Crown Estates and managed by graziers. It is a large area of common land with open access making perfect riding country.
The views from the mountain are fabulous. The Brecon Beacons are easily seen and on a clear day you can see the Preseli Mountains to the West and even the Snowdonia Mountains to the North.
Riding out on the mountain gives ample opportunities to see many of the different species of wildlife which live here. You will almost be certain to catch sight of the Red Kites, buzzards and larks and maybe lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a hen harrier, peregrine or a beautiful flock of golden plovers.
For those people interested in history, there are several sites of bronze age burial sites clearly seen on the mountain, and for everybody in the late summer, there is the unforgettable sight of the mountain covered in purple heather.

Dillwyn has lived and farmed on the mountain all his life, and therefore there is no-one better able to guide you around the area. He is a natural horseman who was riding almost before he was walking! Horses have always been an important feature of the farm, used for shepherding the sheep as well as for pleasure. Dillwyn has also used heavy horses for working in the forestry.
His two daughters, Lyndsy and Maria grew up with horses and have inherited his love for them. They help Dillwyn with the horses and with him, will be your guides on the rides, together with Lisa, (sister in law) and Ruth, (Dillwyns wife).
