Blacksticks Blue Texels

The Flock of Blacksticks Blue Texel Sheep are based in the picturesque village of Chipping, within the beautiful Forest of Bowland, Lancashire.
They were established from sourcing sound foundation stock from some of the most prolific flocks in the Country such as Millside, Beili Blues, Miserden, Craigalbert, Ivanhoe and Valentine flocks.

Our objective is to breed healthy pedigree sheep that are viable to both the pedigree and commercial market. We like hardy, sizeable sheep which are true to Breed Standard, have excellent conformation, Gigots, Length, Width, Tight Skins and Good Mouths.

All our breeding stock are from sound breeding lines with all of the above traits plus Longevity, Fertility, Easy lambing and good milk production.

We adhere to a strict worming programme and vaccinate for Heptavac P, Footvax, Toxovax and Enzovax.
