BJs Electrical is a family run Electrical Retailer taking pride in our product knowledge and customer service. We have three shops, two in Newtown and a third in Welshpool, serving the local communities.

We are members of Euronics, the largest electrical buying group in Europe, which gives us the power of combined purchasing and access to a huge range of Home Entertainment and Domestic Appliances. This allows us to compete with multinational stores, against price and choice, without losing the friendly and personal attention you would expect from a local store.

BJs Electrical was founded in 1967 by Barrie Jarman and his wife Thea, and for the last 25 years the business has been run by their sons Larry and Tyrone Jarman. We are a locally based audio, visual and domestic appliance retailer, and have grown from the original shop in market street Newtown, opening our second shop in Welshpool in 2000. And more recently in 2008 our new 5,000squ foot Superstore on the outskirts of Newtown.

Over the last 40 Years, we have worked to build and maintain a loyal customer base, earning trust and respect which is rewarded by repeat custom and personal recommendations. Our reputation for a personal friendly service and competitive prices has helped us achieve this goal.

We are members of Retra, the UK's largest trade association for Electrical retailers and servicing organizations.
